First, start with the proper size curler.
The longer your hair, the bigger the curler.
Next, preparing your hair, is very important, I found freshly washed hair, doesn't work as well as hair that has some natural oils in it, as you curl your hair DRY.
Everybody's hair is different, and woman prefer different styling products.
I found great results using a thermal heat activated styling product.
You know what works best on you own hair.
Next, sectioning is very important, take clean, square sections one at the time.
Spray thermal styling product, on the length of the hair front and back.

Starting with the wide side of the curler, wrap the hair gradually down the curler, in a single layer, this may seem awkward at first, but becomes very easy with practice !!

[always wrap going down the curler, this prevents hair from getting tangled in the curler].
Continue this all over the head, wrap the sides and back of hair vertically , and top of hair going back.

You can wrap the curlers forward or backward, depending on the style you are trying to achieve !!
after curlers are wrapped, take a hair dryer, and go over every curler [front and back] holding a few seconds per curler, your hair will continue to set, due to the aluminum core center.
After getting the hang of setting your hair, this step will take about 5 minutes!!
The longer your hair is in the curler, the more "crisp" the curl.
To remove, place a finger in each side of the curler, and unwrap at the same time. It is important to unroll both sides at the same time to prevent tangling !!

Once curlers are removed, toss head upside down, and finger comb hair.

Flip hair back and position curls where wanted. spray, and get ready for lots of complements!!

Some tips for professional results:
Section hair with comb.
Always wrap from large side to small.
When using large curler, a clip helps hold it in place due to its weight [a box can be bought at a beauty supply].
Always take bottom curlers out first
If a curler gets tangled, the metal end of a teasing comb takes it out [just use metal end to pull hair away from curler.
Practice Practice Practice
Once your routine is down pat, this will be so easy and so fast !!!
